The MK Schools Sport Partnership are a service to schools providing the infrastructure and support for a full range of services to meet the requirements and expectations of the Primary PE and Sport Premium. With funding now pledged to the end of 2020, there is the security to plan for sustainable improvements in the quality of PE teaching and real opportunity to transform PE in primary schools and ensure physical literacy is embedded.

We feel the time is right to grow the current network within Milton Keynes School Sport Partnership, to incorporate significantly greater expertise and experience, to enhance the quality of support available to develop your Physical Education and School Sport provision.

The SSP receives £23,800 of national government funding to develop School Games across MK within its primary and secondary schools (not infant schools). The funding received is utilised to meet the salary of the School Games Organiser and does not cover all of the essential delivery costs incurred. It is our ambition to provide these competitions in the most cost effective way possible and will only ever pass on costs actually incurred. We are continually striving to provide a relevant, suitable and vibrant PE, school sport, and physical activity offer for your young people. We therefore offer to all schools an extended package of support that can be purchased in addition to the nationally funded offer, to enhance the provision to all young people of high quality Physical Education(PE), as well as having access to an outstanding range of extra curricular sport and physical activities and competitive opportunities across all key stages, inclusive of KS1. Our affiliation packages are an additional service and represents an exciting mix of both new and proven opportunities, with prescribed and bespoke packages to meet the needs of individual schools priorities.
